oil pressure gauge connection on 444-5 444-544

I thought I posted this last night but I don't know where it ended up. Sorry if it's a duplicate. I'm hooking up the gauges in anticipation of firing off my engine for the first time but when I snugged up the fitting on the pressure gauge, the tube still seems quite loose. That is it turns rather easily. I'm not real keen on the prospect of spraying oil behind the dash so I'm looking for suggestions. I first thought I would replace the tubing and connectors but they don't seem to be anything available from the hardware or hose/tubing guys I've shown them to. Can anyone help me spec them out or reassure me that I'm alright as is?
