I love my '86 245 (Stella). Love it, love it, love it. I do nothing more than the regular maintenance at the Haynes suggested intervals, and it rewards me with incredibly faithful service. For instance, here in my town (Vancouver BC) we are required to take our vehicles through yearly emissions tests. The first year I owned Stella she passed easily. The next year, same result almost exactly. This year, she passed with even _better_ results! And not just slightly better - significantly better. If I didn't know the history I would not believe it. Hydrocarbons, NOX, everything is much lower than the last two times.

Yup, I'm happily stumped. Now if only my work van was as good....
