My first accident in my brick. 200

About 3 hrs ago I was driving home with my wife doing about 70km/hr which is the speed limit here in Keswick. When up came one of those vans from the 80's with the big side windows and blinds. The guy was about 2 foot away from my bumper and was weaving back and forth. We came to a street where on the right hand there is a lane to pass peaple turning left. Well he tried to pass me there but didnt quite make it (very short lane). He ended up taking the side of my brick off. The gas tank door was ripped off towards the front of the car. All my trim is damaged some paint scraped and both doors dented in. He basically tried to run me into on comming traffic. He then proceeded to keep driving. Fortunately I caught up to 1km down the road and got his license plate. He then turned left and stopped. To make the long story short he is being charged with dangerous driving and failure to remain at the scene.

My question is hom much might it cost to get the car fixed and will my insurance write it off? I have no clue what the brick is worth.
