Thinking about 87 740 wagon 700

I have the chance to buy a '87 740 wagon. The car is clean, but the interior is shot. I would get a nice repalcement interior to install included witht the car, I would just have to install it. The body is nice and it runs wee. The wheels are mismathced. I could buy it for $500. I would probably clean it up, keep it for a few months and then sell it. Would I come out okay on this or would this be too much work and not worth much more then 500, or my investment of time, wheels and the initially $500? Thanks for any information and happy brickig.
