Too much oil in 240 flametrap

I have two 1990 240's with 200k and both have had this problem for some time.
I have cleaned the throttle body and accordian tube which was sopping with oil and running close to the AMM. I have cleaned or replaced the flame trap and hose from the breather box. Also replaced the breather box last year on both cars, that was a fun job. Cleared the vacuum hose and brass fitting at intake manifold. Meticiouly cleaned all hoses to and from flame trap but still get oil in flame trap even after ONE DAY!
Every couple of months , I need to do this ritual, which way too often as far as I'm concerned....it is not like years ago with these two cars when throttle body service was maybe once a year.
What is wrong?
