Last night I shut off the ignition in my 1987 740 turbo without turning off the headlights. This morning, when I started the car, the wipers started to work. I couldn't shut them off with the wiper stalk switch although moving the switch through it's positions did change the speed. I noticed that the headlight switch was on and turned it off. Guess what! The wipers stopped. I tried to repeat this phenomenon but couldn't. Any suggestions?
