Tips on Buying/Maintaining 91 940SE 900 1991

We are finally thinking of letting go of our 945GLE, and we are going to purchase a 1991 940SE tomorrow. For the folks in the know about the IRS and the B230FT engines...what are your recommendations regarding purchasing the 940SE? I take it that they were only made in 1991? They have the same engines as a 740T, right? But the internal cab stuff and the grill/some superficial things were all the precursur to the 960[and also looked somewhat like some 760's]? So, basically we do all the turbo maintenance and look forward to a more expensive suspension replacement in the rear [which doesn't seem to be an issue thus far]. Right now, the driver's seat motor [or relay possibly] is out, and we're going to fix it tomorrow. No leaks noted, no pings, car superficially is neat as a pin. Advice?

Thanks!
