Stiffer rear suspension S90-V90

Group:
I tow a trailer with an S90 and between the load in the trunk and the reasonable tongue weight of the trailer, the back end of the car sags a bit. This makes the high beam lights unusable on the interstate, mostly.

Is there any way the single leaf spring reat could have a thin layer added to it?
Monroe shocks would help the ride, but do nothing whatsoever for the loaded height.

The concept of a load equalizing hitch is good, but they do not seem to be available for a Class II hitch. Also not sure I want to do the coil spring around the shocks solution either.
