A puzzlement concerning replacement wiring 444-544

Wow, you built your own wiring harness? That's impressive. Mine is original and off the car now in a box (I'm restoring the car) but I've been toying around with the idea of buying a new one [if I can find one] or having it remade from the original. The original is in okay condition, but it is original - 48 years old! Not sure what to do really... What would you charge or pay to have another rebuilt or purchased? Any ideas? (Didn't mean to hijack the thread and will start another if you all want.)
