Burnt rubber smell coming from rear wheels - brakes? 900 1993

Noticed it while in heavy stop and go traffic yesterday, and finally when I parked realized it was coming from the rear wheels, not the fronts.

Had all pads/rotors replaced less than a year ago, and it's cold and slushy right now, so I won't be able to take the rear wheels off for diagnosis for a couple of days. Stuck my fingers very close to the rotors, and they don't seem unusually hot so I don't think it's a caliper sticking....

Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!
