Rear end swap. 200 1980

Hello,
I currently drive a 1980 242DL as a second vehicle. When I got the car, It had an M45 4 speed. I converted to an M46 that I removed from my 84 245. When I did the swap I also used the heavier driveshaft from the 84. However, I am still using the 3.91 rear. This 2.1 k-jet with (I believe) the T camshaft does not have the low-end torque that my 84 b-23 had. Is anyone out there using an older 2.1 k-jet with the 3.31 rear and an M-46? I am thinking about swapping in the 3.31 from the wagon but I dont know how the engine will handle it. Just a note, My b21 is probably not 100%. I suspect my camshaft timing may have been off since I replaced the belt. I will definitely verify that as soon as possible.

Thanks,
Anthony
