72 144E, runs fine for 15 min. then dies? 140-160

This is a rather perplexing problem that has been haunting this car for the past year or so in one form or another. At the moment, the car will start up from cold just fine, run just fine for 10 to 15 minutes, then it will start losing power and die altogether. Wait about 15 minutes, and it will start up and run just fine again. At first I thought it was the points gap closing, but I put in a brand new set, and its still doing it. I would think if any of the sensors had gone bad, it would run poorly all the time... I'm left with thinking its the computer... but I've only had one of the D-Jet units go bad a long time ago. Anyone have an idea?

Last time I posted about a wierd problem this car had, it turned out that her tank had been siphoned so it *couldn't* run. Gas gauge is non functional, so I didn't notice. Anyway, it has a locking gas cap now.
