there is no ballast resistor 140-160

I assume this is a 142e with d-jet, and the dilemma is that it won't start.

Is the fuel pump fuse blown? Left fender wall under hood.

Does the fuel pump run? It should run for about 2 seconds whe you turn the key to 'on', to pressurize the lines.
