Michele,you don't have to touch the shift lever-just turn the key from the 'off' to the 'on' position five times,leaving it in 'on' position the last time-don't actually turn it to 'start' position.Yes,you will have to (re) program them all at the same time-sorry 'bout that! :)
sredwine V90 has 109K,'94 940T has 170K
