1996 850R SC815 options

The FM tuner section of my SC-815 in my 1996 850R has stopped working. I am looking at options to replace. I can get a SC-816 but it has a grey face an does not match my interior. I am wondering if the face plates between 815 and the 816 are exchangable. The other option I am wondering is if a SC-901 will fit without modification.
