Replace Brake Fluid - Why ??? 200

Greetings:
You have expressed the same views I have...keep the water out and your brakes won't easily overheat or rust internally. Admittedly you may never have brake overheating - in which case very small drum brakes would be adequate instead of 4 wheel discs. I believe Volvo require DOT4 fluid, and I personally like Valvoline semi-synthetic, which is compatable, DOT4, and inexpensive. Some folks like ATE - good quality and comes in 2 colors so you can tell when the "old color fluid" is all flushed out because the new color fluid is appearing. Castrol is also popular.
