Replace Brake Fluid - Why ??? 200

It is not a sealed system, the fluid is exposed to moisture through the constant in and out of the pistons and fluid level, and brake fluid is hygroscopic. As a result, it absorbs moisture which lowers the boiling point and corrodes the internals of the system.

Ask me how I know: my father in law claimed the brake fluid "never" needed to be changed. He bought all four calipers and master cylinder: every moving part in his brake system was corroded in place.

But you are welcome to ignore the recommendation. Just start saving up for the repair bill.
