Still have water leaks in 88 244 will this work? 200

I have a 1988 244 that seems to have problems with water leaking on the driver side. I just fixed a leak that was on the passenger side with a wiper graumet, now I have this problem. Can I take a hose and spray water around the hood cable release and the cruse vaccume area hose in the engene carpment whear it meets up with the fire wall. Ahh, I was hoping that I had all of the leaks fixed, so it looks like a few more weeks with a car with no carpets inside. Ahh, this is annoying. Thanks for any information and happy bricking.
