Overdrive Fix 200 1989

If that won't get it working, you've done all you can. That fix is designed to spare you the expense of replacing the solenoid, at whatever astronomical price they get for the things.

It doesn't make the solenoid work, it's really just a bypass. Replacement means finding a good used one (yah, good luck) or biting the bullet for the new part.

If the problem is in the transmission, as yours sounds like, then there's no fix except a rebuilt or good used transmission.
