Overdrive Fix 200 1989

My solenoid had already been cut before I bought my 85 in 2000 (in OD all the time) but I didn't know it until one day it quit working. I did know that the switch didn't do anything. I started troubleshooting the system and ended up replacing the broken wire at the trans shift housing (where power wire goes through the body) new relay and new solenoid. I did the trans flush, pipe cleaner in the fluid circuit holes and replaced the shift cable from the throttle trying several different adjustment and still no workey. I could hear and fell the solenoid moving when the button was switched. I finally found a low mileage used one. I replaced all of the seals and gaskets, used the old solenoid and now it shifts great.
