16 valve 940's THERE'S OIL IN THERE! 900

It's starting to get warm here in western Mass, so I decided to throw a set of plugs in the wifes '91 940 B234 (16 valve dohc). I was surprised to find the spark plug holes full of oil (well, not full but there was a lot). I'm hoping all this means is a new valve cover gasket and maybe a flame trap. Anyone seen this/have any good advice?
By the way, those plug wires are a real bear to get out!

Thanks in advance,
Chris
