So started off with a stall while driving, computer code I got was air temp sensor. Thanks for all the help on the previous posts.
Tested map, air temp sensor, idle air motor still no go. Checked the fuel pressure on the fuel rail (held the fuel line with my thumb while cranking engine), no pressure. Checked relays, and fuse all ok, can hear the pump prime.
Decided it was a bad pump, went to NAPA told them REGINA one pump, guy said sure $99.
Got the pump, while installing I hit myself in the eye with a screw driver, luckily still have eye but had a black eye for a week.
Installed, car started fine, drove around a mile and then it would hesitate around 2k rmp and stall, ok as long I could it above 3k rmp. Idle fine, as soon as you load on the engine, it would stall.
Checked the all sensors again, rmp, fpr, map, radio sup relay, air temp, idle air, knock, injectors and no codes. Thought it was the ECU (against advise of BB) bought one. Still the same. Figured it was the coil, more money wasted. Checked the pressure on the fuel line, none. Hand wired the pump with the assembly out to see if I missed an internal leak, no pressue no leak.
Almost thought about taking it to dealer, decided to try the pump again. Ordered a pump from fpcgroton like I should have, put it in and she's runing like a champ.
The bad news, napa will not take it back because I lost my reciept, even though the guy remembers me. They sold me a pre pump for almost a 100 bucks.
