244 sunroof 90-93 what models?

Only the high end models had the sunroofs. They were only fitted to sedans for the North American market.

The older cars came in two models, a "DL" (base model) and a "GL" for the fancier model. The sunroof would be standard in a GL model.

But then, in 1990, Volvo decided to confuse us, and removed the upmarket GL designation. The base model became just "240" and the former "240 GL" became "240DL".

Some of the upmarket "DL" models don't seem to have the optional alloy wheels; rather they have the same plastic hubcaps over steel wheels as a normal 89-up 240.

You shouldn't find vinyl seats in any model besides a wagon. However, the front seats could be swapped pretty easily- they are just held in with 4 bolts. Rear seats won't interchange from a sedan to a wagon. Leather seats were an option throughout production.

A couple of interesting models appeared later- in 1991 Volvo offered a 240SE, which was a white or red wagon (never seen an SE sedan) with all black trim, no chrome, and 14" alloy wheels. These wheels disappeared for 1992, then reappeared on the very last production 240's: the last 1600 cars were built as the "240 Classic", with two paint options: ruby red or a teal green. The 1993 Classic, to me, would be the most desirable model. Ideally a red sedan...
