Want another Volvo....740 vs 850 vs 940...opinions wanted 900

We have had several 240's and a 940 over the past 10 years and have passed them on to our sons. We are currently without a Volvo, but are thinking about getting a low mileage Volvo station wagon with considerations on the 740, 940 or 850. In terms of mechanical reliability, which of those cars would offer the best combination of interior space, cargo capability and reliability?
