Tool advise

Tools. Silly thing Like Extra tough Philips head screws is always a kick in the side for an otherwise simple task.

Maybe it's too late for this case but you may want to look into a great tool. Hand Held Impact Driver. They are great. The Alternator would have to come out because it's too tight to work on in its mount.

But this toll works great you tap it/smack it with a hammer and as the hammer force presses down, there is a gear in there that spins it. It can't Walk out of the slots. The one below is a fair price. Snap-On is Pricey.. don't buy the cheap $6 one. They are not as sensitive and you have to beat them with a hammer to get the twist movement out of them.
