Intermittent stalling out of nowhere, need help 700

Got a helpful tip from someone yesterday about my hesitating and intermittent stalling 89, 740, 100K. It was sggested that the ignition amp module might be the culprit. Where is this located? Is this something I should consider replacing or fixing myself?
