Salvage yard Nivomats 700

I ran across a set of nivomat shocks on a 760 at the local salvage yard. They looked to have very little use, so I pulled one off to take a closer look. The rubber boot is still in tacked and I can even read the label. They appear to have been recently installed on this car before the poor guy totaled his 760. How do I test the shocks to determine if they are good or not? For ten bucks each, I figure it was worth it. The Nivomat Gods smiled on me....maybe.

Mike
