740 window switches in a 240 200 1990

This is a "just making sure" post. One of my rear power window switches in my '90 240DL Wagon ate itself the other day. All I could get in a hurry were switches out of a '90 740. The contacts are the same, and the switch is the same size, so it mounts properly. The surface and trim of the switch is different, with all of it's edges radiused., but everything seems to work as normal.

So, the question would be are there any underlying differences I should be aware of, other than cosmetics, between the window switches in a 240 and those in a 740?
