Hello all. Looking into picking up a potential project car and would like some advice. I've found a '79 242 Bertone for sale locally that looks to be in really good shape cosmetically. It has b21f motor w/ aw71 trans, and everything's there. Question is, the car has sat for about 4 years. What, other than belts, hoses, tires, ect. would need to be checked/replaced for it to be operable? The gentleman says the entire fuel system would need to be replaced. True? Motor and trans are supposedly good, though I don't know the reason for it's being set up for so long. What do you think, worth the $650 asking? Not looking for daily transportation, just a "weekend car".
