do I need cv's replaced/shocks? 301k miles 200 1985

1985 245 wagon - 301,ooo miles- this car just keeps going- however a really noisy and rattling ride- I can see the casing around cv's is cracked and I am thinking about replacing this item along with brakes and allignment- is this really worth it? or too expensive for the value of the brick?
I can get parts easily and reasonable near my home in Ballard- but need an idea from a mechanic what these would run as a job... if more than 600? is this even worth it? It rattles LOUD and shocks are shot - I clunk and rattle down the road- and I have to rip off the heat shield but I am certain this is shock/struts? and cv stuff that I should get done.. any ideas?
