140 Fuel Sender 140-160

This is a follow-up from my recent post on the 1974 in-tank fuel filter, While attempting to remove the sender unit I found that the pipe-leads are badly rusted, I would prefer to replace the whole unit while I have it out, I have done this on my 240 but fear that it will be more diffiucult to find a replacement for the 140? Is the diameter of the 240 unit the same, I am interested in modifying a 240 unit to replace the 140 one. Interested to hear how I should deal with this issue.
