I Need Input For Vintage Volvo Insulation Kit Development.

I've been in contact with a company here in California that makes noise/heat insulation kits. I'm sure that nearly all our owners of vintage Volvos will agree that additional reduction in both noise and heat would be a huge asset towards the enjoyment of our cars.

Here's my question: Can anyone tell me whether the PV444 and PV544 have identical floor pans? For example, if I cut a carpet set for a PV444, can I install it in a PV544, or was there a design change between the two models?

The kits will probably cover the floors, front and rear firewalls, roof, and sides (both rear seat sides as well as insulation for both doors.)

The next question is about the other Volvos of the same period. For those of you who previously or currently own(ed) more than one model of vintage Volvo,
can you tell me if the sedans in the 120-series might accept the same set of pre-cut sheets as the PV544?

My aim here is to find out how much, if any, of the new kit(s) can be applied to different early models of Volvos.

It goes without saying that the 4-doors cars will need at least different side panel pieces, and the station wagons will need yet other pieces. I'm not even going to get into the vintage Volvo pickup trucks...!

Any information or guidance you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Steve
