960 Trans filter and flush 900

posted by  someone claiming to be dnice on  Sat Apr 1 02:56 CST 2006 [RELATED]

I'm in the process of flushing the trans and will also be replacing the trans filter. I've got all the pan bolts off and can see an orange gasket. Is this the original chemical gasket?

How much force can be safely used trying to get the pan off? It's really got a good bond to the tranny.
