Re-Keying Two 240s for one key 200 1979

I recently bought a 1979 245 DL and it's enroute from California as I write this. I also have an 84 240 GL and I'd like to use one key for both cars. This will require that I remove all the cylinders on the 1979 245 to have them re-keyed. I don't anticipate a problem with the doors and tailgate, but I've never removed an ignition cylinder.

Any advice on how to do this would be appreciated. My manual makes it sound quite easy, but that can be misleading.

Thanks,

Joe K
