Water pump n gasket a Volvo mechanic only job ?

I see what looks to be a small leak in what looks like the gasket between the water pump (behind the radiator fan), and the engine block. At least that is where the fluid seems to be seeping and dropping.

I assume that if the seal / gasket needs to be replaced, that I should also replace the water pump, since it is not that expensive at Groton.

Is this the kind of repair/action which should be left to a Volvo mechanic shop or dealership, or can the work be done by any good experienced mechanic ?

I know that some Volvo work is best left to Volvo trained mechanics, however they are in short supply or high demand in my circumstance. However, rather than wait for an opening, I could go to a general mechanic.

Is the pulling apart of the radiator, etc, to get at the water pump, etc, and putting it all back together again something that only a Volvo mechanic should do?

Thanks, RB
