Air Through Floor & Defrost Vents Only 900 1994

In my '94 945T, air with the fan switch on will blow only through floor & defrost vents, not the dash panel vents. This is the case regardless of engine idling or accelerating. This seems to have started just after a visit to the garage to diagnose a leaky A/C condenser, but I'm not ready to assign blame!

I have read the FAQ and am not sure what to think...one post addresses this symptom specifically, saying "The likely culprit, assuming the vacuum supply is coming in correctly from the engine compartment, is the floor/defrost servo..." but then adds that is "usually the case if symptom is loss on acceleration."

There are a whole lot of other bits of advice for mostly other symptoms. Does anyone have a hint on likely cause? I don't have any special tools for diagnosing vacuum leaks. I am open to "compromise" fixes, so long as I can get air from the dash!

Thanks, Greg
