Is This A Sign My Wiring Harness Is Going Bad ??? 200

Hello all. 1986 240 DL Stick Shift With about 170,000 miles. My parking brake light in my dash cluster sometimes lights up when parking brake is pulled and sometimes it does not. Sometimes it will not work and then a minute later it will. Inconsistent. It is not the switch. I took it off and apart and it is 100% fine. What could this be ? Is this a sign that my wiring harness is starting to go ? I have no other electrical quirks at all with this car. Thanks in advance for insight, replys, information & advice.
