Odometer replacement 200 1988

I just replaced the gear in my '88 Volvo 240!! I am not very confident in my mechanical intuition or ability, so succeeding in this repair was very satifying. I used www.odometergears.com and received my gear within 2 days. Everything went back together smoothly. I didn't know this repair was possible because the mechanics all declined to talk about this. So knowing I had nothing to lose, I just started taking everything apart until I could go no further and then researched brickboard.com. Thanks for being there!!
