help for lowered 140 140-160 1968

I have lowered my 142 (1.5" all around) with cut coils from a 164. The problem I am now facing is there is way too much rebound (really bounces around on rough roads). I have KYB shocks all around. I am thinking I probably need shorter and stiffer shocks to match the coil rates. Any suggestions on a good shock to use for not too much money (not more than $120 for two). I would really like to keep the stance where it is right now as it looks bitchin' and has no clearance issues.

Thanks again,

Chris w. 68 142S
