Thanks for the tips. I think the scraper stip replacement will likely do the trick on the driver's door, so I'm going to give it a try as soon as I can get at it.
As for the replacement window in the passenger door. It can't be the scraper strips because since I put the new window in I haven't put the inner door panel back on. I'm just driving around with the exposed door frame for the time being. So what are the fixes in this scenario? Remember, the original window was busted out and I've now installed a replacement from the wrecking yard. My car is a '92 and the replacement is out of a '90. Are there compatibility issues? I notice that the tinting is different between the eariler window and the others in my car (which stinks). The old window worked fine, and it's only now that the replacement is in, that it's moving slowly, binding, and causing the motor to struggle. I know I've installed it properly (the regulator arms are where they're supposed to be, and the glass itself is inside the guides). Any other suggestions here? Thanks again to all for helping me out.
