Symptoms of a bad CBV? 700

I know my CBV is either bad or on its way. I did the test of pulling the vacuum line, moving the diaphragm with a screw driver, plugging the port, and letting the diaphragm go. The diaphragm didn’t hold pressure, it returned to the original position and I felt no vacuum. What are some of the symptoms I would experience during driving? At this time, when I give the car a lot of peddle it sounds like something is plugged, no or very weak boost. I do not have a cat. The boost gauge on the dash runs up into the yellow like it always has. The cap, rotor, coil, all vacuum lines, and plugs are new. I’ve also recently cleaned the throttle body and the PCV system was cleaned last fall. I also visually checked all my hoses. Would a bad CBV vent my entire boost before it gets to the intake? Also, where can I find a new CBV for a Mitsubishi TD04? I’m the kind of guy that would rather replace OEM parts with performance ones where possible. Do they make a performance CBV for my turbo?

P.S. Please don't say pick and pull for a CBV. I only replace parts on my Volvo with new ones.
