Claiming tentative success on my disk brake conversion

thanks John,
yup. I think I'm curious enough to pull the rear drums off and take a look see. We were wondering if there was same air in the line still (might explain the temporary spongy feel?) but not sure why they returned to feeling firm and there was a loud CLUNK. I was wondering if it was the rear diffy, but of course I think there's something wrong there because that's about the only piece of the car I haven't tore into yet - and since I found problems everywhere else I'm just assuming there's going to be one there too. 8~/
