low compression- re-ring? 140-160


Unless you have some other symptom, like missing, or unusual noise, I probably would not mess with rering yet. The pressure at 125 is still not especially low. In fact pressures at 140 might be high enough to indicate a build up of carbon in the cylinder head. I'd put some good gas in it and run it pretty hard, say 70mph for an hour or so down the highway and see what happens.

Even if nothing changes, I'd probably not bother with rering if everything else works OK.

Just the way I use my 240.
