MPG problem, What's yours? 900 1997

Hello again,

Two questions.

Here's one question, what should I get for MPG? I only get 16-18 in city, and 20-22 HWY. Something has to be wrong. If you've read my other post, you'll see what has been done. However, New plugs, oil, air & fuel filter, flushed the tranny fluid.

What do you get for your 95-97 960 or 97-98 S90

I even suspected, it was because I was using Reg or mid-grade. So, I bump up to Super (93) for the last three fill-ups.

That's when I get the higher range.

Today, I broke down, and called Volvo Service, She wants me to bring it in. I don't want to spend another C-note for them to tell me my injector may be clogged, or something. I did put B-12 Chem fluid in it on my first fill-up when I bought the car a month ago.

My other question is, what is the name of the bushing shown with the following link? It right under DS passenger door, next to the jack-lift spot. You should be able to see the cracks.

Thanks,
