Air Mass Meter OBD code 200

So there I was driving to Target. The car was at good operating temp. It had a tank of gas. Then, while driving, the orange Check engine light came on. Frightened I never made it to Target, I did a U-turn and drove my car home. I got oyt the haynes Manual and ran to OBD stuff to find an error code. The code was 1-2-1, for my 92, 240 the book says that means that there is no signal to my Air Mass Meter. I checked in the bently book, same thing. Now I need to advice. Who do I go to to fix it, the Haynes book made it seem very expensive. I don't be believe its something I can do myself. I am not very handy with cars. Is this something a chain mechanic can do like Madis, or is this something I need to find a Volvo specialist to do? So I am in DC needing help
