B230F vs B230FT 200 1992

I am seriously looking at buying a low mileage 1989 or 1992 745T.

I have a 92 244 which I love and can work on, but wonder if there is much difference to the maintenance of a B230F and a B230FT.

I see that the distributor is located differently and the engine compartment looks different than that of my 244.

I feel comfortable maintaining my B230F, but am concerned about a B230FT.

Any thoughts, opinions or specific things to look for would be much appreciated.
