help for lowered 140 140-160 1968

Bilsteins are for sure the way to go....but they are expensive. The main reason you're bouncing around are the KYBs and stiffer spring rates. I've got a 142 with IPD bars & springs and the KYBs were terrible--not made for lowered cars. Out of desperation (I didn't have $295 at the time for Bilsteins) I ordered Gabriel shocks off ebay--$50.00 for all 4. Ride is really good on most roads--still stiff on bumby roads--springs again--but musch better and still handles excellent. The Gabriels are gas charged and have been on for a year and not feeling any difference. Just my 2 cents worth.
