What are the symptoms of bad ball joints? I am feeling front end rattles and bangs over bumps and rattling in the steering column when turning. The MD State inspector told me they were worn out 30k miles ago...Second...are 86 244's "late model 200's"? in other words do you need to compress and remove the struts to replace the ball joints?
