700 Idle hunting 700

I am back to working on the 780. I finished the car last October and drove it for two months and then started having problems with loosing power and hunting at idle. I assumed that the problem was junk in the fuel tank. I had a very dirty filter and thought that changing it would solve the problem. It did not. I finally got around to dropping the gas tank.

Imagine a drive shaft that goes right through the center of a gas tank..... on a Volvo. I dropped the tank. Drained it completely and then cleaned it out. It had lots of gooey crud and some rust particles from the back of the filler neck. I have now stripped the filler neck and coated it with POR 15. I have gotten inside the tank and wiped it out completely. Now I have a clean tank, a new tank fuel pump all the lines are clean the injects are clean. It is all back together and after driving about 15 minutes I am back to no power and hunting.

I removed the return fuel line and I have LOTS of fuel going back to the return line. So much for this being a fuel problem.

Anybody got other creative ideas? I am stuck. I can start the car and for about 5 minutes it runs fine and then the problem reoccurs. This has to be a Volvo kind of problem and not a 780 problem.
