NY kinda like CT. NJ is cheap.

NY kinda like CT. NJ is cheap.

If you gas up at Exit 3 in RI you might make it through CT and NY before getting gas in NJ. That way you hit the low prices.

Instead of I-95 and the George Washington Bridge through NY, take the Tappan Zee bridge across the Hudson (via 287) unless you're driving through in the middle of the night or at 6-7 a.m. on a weekend. NY's Bronx and the George Washington Bridge can ruin your day. On the west side of the bridge, get to the Garden State; take that down to the NJ Turnpike, the rest of the trip is standard-issue Mapquest or AAA TripTic directions.
